Over the course of my studies, I covered areas such as: Public Relations & Corporate Communication: how to build and protect a brand or organisation’s reputation, write press releases, manage media relations, and handle communication in times of crisis. Marketing & Branding: creating campaigns, managing social media platforms, understanding consumer behaviour, and promoting products or services in ways that speak to the right audience. Digital Media & Content Creation: designing and sharing creative content for different platforms, from social media posts to professional presentations. Media & Journalism: learning how media works, how stories are written and presented, and how communication shapes society. Event Planning & Project Communication: organising events, planning campaigns, and coordinating communication tasks. Internal & Interpersonal Communication: understanding how people communicate within organisations, teamwork, leadership, and effective speaking/writing skills. The degree gave me both theory and practical skills, like writing for different audiences, managing social media accounts, creating communication strategies, and working on group projects that mirror real workplace situations.
